The Counseling and Student Services Department provides services in the following areas:
- Four year plans for all students (8th - 12th)
- Student scheduling
- Career and college counseling
- Individual counseling in areas of social-emotional development
- Academic and behavioral updates for parents
- Resources for outside career, college, and social-emotional counseling
- Testing

In addition to regular counseling activities, the Guidance Office focuses on these components in May:
- High school students take appropriate End of Course exams.
- College-bound seniors are strongly encouraged to submit their FAFSA as soon as possible and to complete admissions processes for their college of choice. If you need help completing the FAFSA or if you have other questions about financial aid, contact the Guidance Office.
- High school students in the A+ Program continue unpaid peer tutoring.
- Students interested in summer programs in area schools or in summer job opportunities of which the Guidance Office has been made aware should visit the Summer Opportunities page.
